Daramkhola Hydro Energy IPO Allotment Concludes: Lucky 242,318 Applicants Allotted 10 Units Each via Lottery System

Daramkhola Hydro Energy Limited's IPO allotment was concluded today at the premises of the issue manager, LS Capital Limited, New Baneshwor, Kathmandu.
The company had issued 24,23,185 units worth Rs 24.23 crores as an Initial Public Offering (IPO) to the general public (15th- 29th Shrawan, 2082).
The company's issued capital stands at Rs. 1.03 Arba. Of this, 38.33%, equivalent to 39,50,000 unit shares, was allocated for public issuance. From this public portion, 10% (i.e., 10,30,500 unit shares worth Rs. 10.30 Crores) were set aside for project-affected locals from Gulmi and Baglung districts. The remaining 28.33%, or 29,19,500 unit shares, were designated for the general public. Out of these, 10% (2,91,950 unit shares) were specifically allocated to Nepali citizens working abroad. Of the general public issue, 2%, i.e., 58,390 units, were set aside for the company's employees, and 5% of the total offered shares, i.e., 1,45,975 units, were set aside for the mutual funds. The remaining 24,23,185 units were for the general public.
The issue received a total of 2,283,226 valid applications for 26,312,680 units. Meanwhile, 13,239 applications were invalid.
As per the allotment module, a total of 242,318 applicants were allotted 10 units each via lottery and, 5 applicants received 1 unit each.
