The NEPSE index closed at 2,062.80 today after losing 17.64 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.85%. The index had gained 60.22 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,082.45 and made an intraday high of 2,115.60. It then made an intraday low at 2,058.28 and finally closed at 2,062.80 levels.
229 scrips traded hands via 30,762 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 4,156,104 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.472 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.640 Arba.
Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 6.74 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 209.
Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (ULBSL) gained the highest 10% and hit the positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, Singati Hydro Energy Limited (SHEL) lost the highest 5.34% today.
All sector indices closed red, "Finance." lost the highest 2.31% while "Banking" lost the least 0.4%.
