Dahal, Ghising, Lamichhane, Balen Cast Votes
Coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda”, cast his vote in the House of Representatives elections from Chitwan.
He cast his ballot at a polling centre at the Nepal Police School at Shantipur in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-14. The polling centre lies in Chitwan constituency 3 from where his daughter Renu Dahal contested the polls.
Prachanda cannot vote for himself as he is running from Rukum East.
Similarly, chairperson of the Ujyaalo Party Nepal, Kulman Ghising, exercised his franchise at a polling centre in Bauddha. He is contesting from the Kathmandu constituency 3.
Chairperson of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane, cast his ballot at a polling centre at the Kathmandu Upatyaka Khanepani Limited in Kathmandu constituency 3. Lamichhane is running from Chitwan constituency 2.
RSP’s senior leader, Balendra Shah, also known as Balen, cast his vote at a polling centre at Annapurna English School in Sinamangal. He is contesting from Jhapa constituency 5.
