The NEPSE index closed at 2,132.96 today after gaining 54.45 points from yesterday's closing. This is a gain of 2.62%. The index had lost 61.05 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,081.65 points, which is also the intraday low. The index went intraday high at 2,134.62 and ultimately closed at 2,132.96 .
214 scrips traded hands via 64,231 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 9,944,048 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 4.106 Arba in the turnover amount. This is a lot higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 2.730 Arba.
SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) had the highest turnover of Rs. 15.29 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 838 per share. The shares of Api Power Company Ltd. (API) traded the most.
Seven scrips gained all they could for the day and hit the positive circuit breaker for the day.
On the other side of things, 9.5% Manjushree Finance Limited Debenture 2085 (MFLD85) lost the highest 5.87% today.
All sector indices closed green, "Finance" gained the highest 7.9% while "Mutual Fund" gained the least 0.68%.
