Confusion on book closure date led trading suspension of Nagbeli Laghubitta

Trading of Nagbeli Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (NBBL) has been now suspended in Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) for inquiry purpose.
Nagbeli Laghubitta had published book closure date on Mangsir 6, 2073 that means only the shares registered one day ahead of book closure date i.e. today (Mangsir 5, 2073) are eligible for the right shares.
However, confusion aroused as Nepse published adjusted price of the company today though the book closure date is tomorrow.
As per an official of NMB Capital, “The Company has made mistake while sending book closure date to Nepse creating confusion which led to suspension of trading of the company.’
