Civil Bank and General Insurance sign bancassurance agreement

Civil Bank Ltd has entered into an agreement with General Insurance Company Nepal Limited as its agent to sell Insurance policies. The Agreement was signed by Chief Executive Officer of Civil Bank Ltd., Mr. Govinda Gurung and General Manager of General Insurance, Mr. S.K. Tamot.

Following the Agreement, Customers can now avail insurance policies and hassle-free Bancassurance services through Civil Bank Limited’s 71 branches spread across the country in a convenient manner said Mr. Govinda Gurung, CEO of the Bank.

Prior to this, the Bank has also been offering Life Insurance and Non-Life Insurance products to its customers through similar agreements.
