NEPSE Index Slides Down By 9.62 Points ; Only Two Sector Closes at Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a single-digit loss, losing 9.62 points (0.36%) to close at 2,603.71. This follows an 16.47 -point loss in the previous trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,610.16 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,614.47 and a low of 2,588.28 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.65 Arba, with 11,069,074 shares traded across 363 companies through 51,274 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.78 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.17 Kharba.

Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 22.99 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 1,297.00.

12% ICFC Finance Limited Debenture 2083 (ICFCD83) led the gainer's list with a 9.18% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 1,056.00.

Meanwhile, Citizens Super 30 Mutual Fund (C30MF) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 5.44%. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 9.22 .

Among sectors, the Others Index recorded the highest gain, gaining by 0.12%, while Trading Index recorded the highest loss, down 1.87%.
