City Dev. Bank opens new branch in Bandipur; earned Rs 24.15 crore operating profit

City Development Bank Limited has opened its 15th branch office in Bandipur, Tanahun on Shrawan 16, 2072 (Saturday).The bank has been providing customer oriented secure modern banking services with usage of latest technologies from the day of establishment. The bank was established in the year 2064.

Maha Prasad Adhikari, Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank inaugurated the program by announcing scholarship to the deserving students of Bhanu Higher Secondary School Bandipur and also provide musical instruments to the local mother’s group and the local musicians’ group with the motive to preserve the local culture.  Further the company distributes books and sports materials to Ratna Rajya Kanya Lower Secondary School.

The bank has been providing services to people of rural areas mainly focusing on women, marginalized group and youths through its banking and micro finance program. In addition the bank has been more focused on social responsibilities showing its presence in the grieving time and it aims to continue its service and help in future as well.

‘The bank has been providing banking services through 15 branches including Kaski, Tanahun, Lamjung , Manang ,Baglung and  Chitwan branch. Also it will be trading through LamachourKaski besides the newly opened branch of Bandipur. said Bishwo Mohan Adhikari, CEO of the bank.

The development bank has earned operating profit of Rs 24 crore 15 lakh till Ashad end. Its paid-up capital remains at Rs46 crore 81 lakh 60 thousand. It has collected Rs 5 arba 6 crore deposits and dispersed Rs 4 arba 16 crore in loans and advances till Ashad end of the last FY 2071/72.
