Citizens Bank virtually celebrates its 13th anniversary; launches Citizens Xtra FD product with 8.75% interest

Citizens Bank International has celebrated its 13^th anniversary via a virtual platform due to the ongoing threat of Coronavirus.

The bank also revealed the second edition of its e-bulletin by CEO of the bank Mr. Ganesh Raj Pokharel amid the virtual anniversary celebration.

The bank has also launched new FD product Citizens Xtra Fixed Deposit Account with 8.25% interest where the respective branch manager can further add 0.50% interest for the depositors. Likewise, the deposit product can have maturation period between 3 months till 10 years with minimum balance of Rs 1 lakh. Individual account holders will also receive compounding interest of 8.25% in the interest they earn.

The bank currently provides its services to its 5 lakh plus customers from its 94 branches, 94 ATM outlets and 103 branchless banking units.
