Citizens Bank opens CBIL Capital Ltd

 Citizens Bank International Limited (CZBIL) has opened CBIL Capital Limited as its subsidiary merchant banking company. The commercial bank occupies 67% of its share in this merchant bank. The merchant bank has paid up capital of Rs 10 crore. A new BOD has been formed for the merchant bank. Ganeshraj Pokhrel has been elected as the chairman of the BoD. The company has got approval from Nepal Rastra Bank. It will start trading as merchant banking and investment banking after getting permission from Securities Board of Nepal.
