Citizens Bank expands at Juphal of Dolpa taking the branch count to 94; more rural areas to receive banking services

Citizens Bank International has brought into operation its new branch from Falgun 22, 2076. The bank has expanded its services at Juphal of Dolpa taking its services to rural mountainous region of mid-west Nepal, as per the statement. The inaugural event at the branch was attended by local representatives, businessmen, social workers, representatives of different government and non-government agencies, as per the media statement.

The bank hopes to provide range of banking facilities to the locals around the Dolpa area as per the guidelines of the central bank and federal government to take banking services to the door steps, as per the media statement.

 

The bank currently has 94 branches, 90 ATM outlets and 103 branchless banking units under its network. It is in the final stage of acquiring Sahayogi Bikas Bank after which its branch count and banking reach will grow exponentially, as per the media statement.
