Citizens Bank distributes payment for rural road construction under WFP; banking service into rural Dhading
Citizens Bank International Limited (CZBIL) has dispersed the payment in rural road construction project at the rural Jharlang and Reggaun VDCs of Dhading district.
Issuing the press note, the bank informed that the payment was dispersed for the “Cash for Work” project under which the rural roads are being constructed in the earthquake hit areas with the grant from World Food Program. Cash worth Rs. 3.43 crore was distributed to 2772 families from Poush 13 to 20, 2074, reads the press note further.
Mr. Ganesh Raj Pokhrel, deputy CEO of the bank informed that these and other similar initiatives of the bank to work closely with rural communities will help to further the rural infra development projects and uplift the rural economy of the nation.
