Citizen Bank provides financial assistance for renovation of Narwadeshwar Mahadev, Ramechhap

Citizen Bank with the slogan of "Your partner for progress" has been continuously making efforts to expand its services to the citizens of the country. Similarly, it has also been focusing on various social works to give something back to the society.Temples and heritage monuments of Narwadeshwar Mahadev were damaged in the massive earthquakes of 2015. The government has given least priority to renovation and retrofitting of temples that were damaged. There is an urgent need of public – private partnership for the conservation of the cultural heritage sites of the country. Prioritizing the same fact, the Bank has provided the financial support of NPR 1,50,000/- on the occasion of its tenth anniversary for renovation of the temple on Jestha 14, 2075.

The temple of Narwadeshwar Mahadev is one of the prominient religious places located in Ramechhap district. Lord Shiva, the Parameshwara or The Supreme God, is the main deity of the Narwadeshwar Mahadev Mandir in the temple. This Hindu shrine is elegantly decorated with intricate carvings and sculptures of Hindu gods and goddesses. This religious site is visited by devotees throughout the year, especially on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri.
