Chilime Hydropower profit declined 3.95% to Rs 65.85 crore in Q3; National Hydropower net worth stands at Rs 68.05 with negative reserve of Rs 44.27 crore

Chilime Hydropower Company Limited (CHCL) has shown slight decrement in net profit by 3.95% percent in the third quarter of the FY 2074/75.

According to the unaudited financial report published today, its net profit after income tax has fallen to Rs 65.85 crore in the third quarter of fiscal year 2074/75 from Rs 68.56 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2073/74.

CHCL has made regular income from power sales of Rs 80.45 crore by the end of the third quarter falling from Rs 84.65 crore in the corresponding quarter — fall by 4.96 %.

Its current paid up capital stands at Rs 3.96 arba with Rs 4.70 arba in reserve fund.

Its annualized earnings per share (EPS) stands at Rs 22.14, net worth per share is at Rs 218.60 and P/E ratio at 34.86 times.

Likewise, National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) has published third quarter (Q3) report of the FY 2074/75.

According to the unaudited financial report published today, it has posted net profit of Rs 2.38 crore in third quarter of fiscal year 2074/75 from net loss of Rs 97.21 lakh in the second quarter of the current fiscal year 2074/75.

NHPC made an income of Rs 2.96 crore, mainly from selling electricity, by the end of the third quarter, which is 45% less  from Rs 5.39 crore in the second quarter of the FY 2074/75.

The company’s operating profit decreased to Rs 1.08 crore in Q3 from Rs 3.60 crore in the second quarter of current fiscal year.

Its reserve fund is negative at Rs 44.27 crore. Its current paid up capital stands at Rs 1.38 arba.

Its earning per share (EPS) stands at Rs 2.29 and net worth per share at Rs 68.05.
