Chilime Hydropower declares 25% dividend; Paid up to reach Rs 3.95 arba

Chilime Hydropower Company Limited (CHCL) has decided to distribute 25 percent dividend to its shareholders. As per the notice published in NEPSE today, the 337th BOD meeting of the hydropower company held on Ashwin 21, 2074 has proposed 15 percent bonus share and 10 percent cash dividend including for tax purpose to its shareholders from the net profit it earned in the last fiscal year 2073/74. The decision is subjected to approval from company’s upcoming 21^st Annual General Meeting (AGM). Last year, CHCL had distributed 10% bonus and 10% cash dividend to its shareholders. Chilime Hydropower has earned net profit of Rs 96.63 crore in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2073/74 as per unaudited report. It’s paid up capital stands at Rs  3.44 arba. After distribution of 15% bonus share, the paid up capital will reach to Rs 3.95 arba.
