Chhimek’s profit rises by huge margin in Q2; earns Rs 10.48 crore

Chhimek Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited has reported a huge rise in its profit in the second quarter of the current fiscal year 2071/72.
According to the unaudited quarterly report published by Chhimek today, the microfinance development bank has stated that it posted a net profit of Rs 10.48 crore, up from Rs 4.29 crore in the corresponding quarter.
Its net interest income has risen to Rs 30.55 crore, up from Rs 17.88 crore in the corresponding quarter.
Chhimek mobilized Rs 4.04 arba in deposit and Rs 6.32 arba in loan as compared to Rs 2.82 arba in deposit and Rs 3.86 arba in loan in the corresponding quarter.
Its non-performing loan has also gone down from 0.04 percent to 0.02 percent by the end of the second quarter.
It’s annualized EPS at Rs 74.20 and its net worth per share stands at 154.08 and its P/E ratio is 38.52 times.
