Cheers among the investors on the 1st day of trading of this fiscal year; eyes on the tomorrow’s monetary policy

On the first day of trading of this Fiscal Year, the benchmark index of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) gained 2.04 points or 0.21 percent to close at 963.27 level.
The total turnover of the day stood at Rs 390.87 million where 742,363 unit shares of 146 scrips were traded via 2,426 number of transactions.
Maximum trading were done of commercial banks like CZBIL, PRVU and GBIME.
Trading of NLICL and NLIC were done amounting Rs 48.61 million and Rs 36.65 million respectively.
Share Price of 9 companies (PURBL, GDBL, MDBL, RBBBL, DDBL, KAFIL, ARDBL, INDB and SDBL) surged more than 9 percent today where maximum of them faced upper circuit break.
Trading of commercial banks were done of more than Rs 138.96 million. Development banks and Insurance companies were traded of Rs. 108.07 million and Rs 99.15 million.
HydroPower, Insurance and Others index landed in red today. Hotels and Development index gained maximum today. Banking index gained meager 4.39 points.
Investors are now focused on the tomorrow’s monetary policy which may affect the market.
