Century Bank proposes 6.75% dividend for its shareholders; first time all commercial banks announces dividend in a single fiscal year

Century Bank, through its 330^th board meeting held on Magh 23, 2076 has proposed 2% bonus shares worth Rs 16.83 crore and 4.75% cash dividend worth Rs 39.97 crore to its shareholders.

The bank has also decided to submit its dividend distribution proposal to Nepal Rastra Bank for its final approval before the same being presented in the AGM, as per the media statement.

This is the first time that all commercial banks have announced dividend in a single fiscal year. Below is the list of proposed dividend of commercial bank for the FY 2075/76. Janata Bank Limited has proposed 12% dividend including 6% bonus for FY 2075/76 and this bank is already merged with Global IME Bank. JBNL is not listed in the below table.

This year NMB Bank Limited has proposed highest dividend for its shareholders i.e 35% and Civil Bank Limited has proposed least dividend i.e 6.57%.
