CDBL and Om Finance net profit boosts by 66.37% and 45.67% respectively in Q4

City Development Bank Limited (CDBL) has reported net profit rise of Rs 66.37% in the fourth quarter (Q4) of the last fiscal year 2071/72.
As per the unaudited financial report published today, the development bank has stated that its net profit rose to Rs 15.45 crore in Q4, up from Rs 9.29 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2070/71.
The development bank has accumulated Rs 5.06 arba in deposits uprising from Rs 4.06 arba in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year .Likewise it has extended a total of Rs 4.10 arba in loan and advances in Q4.
Its non-performing loan (NPL) stood at 0.54%. The bank’s paid up capital remains at Rs 46.81 crore in Q4.
Its CD ratio stands at 72.69%, EPS at Rs 33.03, net worth per share stands at Rs 150.84 .
With the head office in Pokhara, the development bank has been providing services to its customer from 17 branches located at Chipledhunga, Bagar, Amarsing, Hemja, Bhimad, Bhotewodar, Damauli, Nagdanda, Turture, Manang, Shishuwa, Baglung, Narayanghat, Lamachaur, Bandipur, Chamebazar and Kasmisera.
Likewise, Om Finance Limited (OFL) has posted a net profit rise of 45.67 % in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2071/72. .
Publicizing in the unaudited financial report today, the company has reported net profit of Rs 13.01 crore in the Q4 up from Rs 8.93 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous year.
Its net interest income surged to Rs 21.87 crore in Q4 from Rs 21.18 crore in previous year report.
The company has mobilized Rs 4.80 arba in deposits and has extended its loan and advances to Rs 3.93 arba in the Q4. It’s paid up capital remains at Rs 38.92 crore.
The company’s CD ratio stood at 72.69% and NPL stood at 0.71%.
Its EPS remains at Rs 33.44 and net worth per share stands at Rs 156.47

City development bank and Om finance have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the merger to form a National level development bank, which will be named Om Development Bank Limited.
