Bullish trend continues; Index hits 5% upper circuit break by gaining 76.79 points; Turnover above Rs 1.38 arba

  Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has suspended its operation today one hour before its closing time due to the continuous increment of the market. Today, Nepse Index has increased by 5.01 percent. The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 76.79 points or 5.01% to close at 1,610.62 points. Nepse Index opened at 1,533.90 points and continuously moved afterward. Market was pushed positively upward today and the local bourse imposed a 3.07 percent circuit breaker on the first trading hour. After that, the benchmark index rose by 4 percent and hit another circuit breaker at 12:56 PM. Market resumed at 1:26 PM and was continuously seen in upward trend. Insurance and Microfinance companies dominated the top gainers list with 30 companies hitting positive circuit today. 1.58 lakh units shares of Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank Limited (NCCB) and 1.34 lakh units shares of Sanima Bank Limited (SANIMA) were traded the most today. Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited and Sanima Bank Limited have the highest turnover of Rs 9.44 crore and Rs 7.57 crore respectively. The number of transactions of NBB and SANIMA reached 601 and 445. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 1.38 arba, where more than 25.81 lakhs unit shares were traded through 8.391 transactions. Sensitive index and float index went up by 17.02 and 5.96 points respectively. All sectors in NEPSE landed in green. sectors gainers turnover trans traded losers
