Broker commission reduced; Implication probably from Sunday

Ministry of Finance has decided to reduce broker commission by 40 percent.Sebon has already received confirmation letter from the ministry regarding the same. SEBON has asked Nepal Stock Exchange Limited to implement this soon. Sitaram Thapaliya, General Manager of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited said, “ we are currently working on system and probably the new broker commission will be implemented from Sunday.” As per the new provision,  the broker commission for trading of shares of listed companies will be as follows: Karobar There has been no changes in the broker commission for the bond and debenture issued  by the Government of Nepal, fully or semi owned government institution and  Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB).
