Breaking Records: Gold And Silver Reaches All-Time High
Gold prices in Nepal have surged to a new historic high in the domestic market.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association reported that the price of fine gold increased by Rs. 4,100 per tola on Monday, reaching a record Rs. 274,700 per tola.
This marks a significant rise from the previous day’s rate of Rs. 270,600 per tola and surpasses the earlier peak recorded on December 28, 2025.
Similarly, Tejabi gold experienced a notable increase, climbing to Rs. 274,000 per tola from Rs. 269,900 per tola a day earlier.
Silver prices also moved upward, rising by Rs. 205 per tola to reach Rs. 5,195 per tola, the highest level recorded so far, up from Rs. 4,990 per tola previously.
