Book closure for 32% bonus share of Nepal Bangladesh Bank on Ashwin 19

Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited (NBB) has published book closure date for 32 percent bonus share to its shareholders. As per the notice published today, the register of its shareholders will be closed from Ashwin 19, 2073 to till  Kartik 8, 2073 for the purpose of distributing 32% bonus share and its upcoming AGM. Only the shares registered one day ahead of the book closure date i.e. Ashwin 18, 2073 will be eligible for the dividend. Nepal Bangladesh Bank Limited (NBB) had proposed to distribute 32 percent bonus share and 1.7 percent cash dividend (tax purpose) to its shareholders. NBB will also be issuing 80% right share to its shareholders after the bonus share. NBB had earned net profit of Rs 1.19 arba in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2072/73 as per unaudited report. It’s paid up capital stands at Rs 3.03 arba and after the issuance of 32% bonus share the paid up capital will rise to Rs 4 arba and after the issuance of 80% right share the paid up capital will scale up to Rs 7.22 arba.
