Bad Loan Management: Govt to Establish Asset Management Company
To address the issue of rising non-performing loans (NPLs) in the banking and financial sector, the government has announced the establishment of an Asset Management Company.
Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel revealed this provision while presenting the budget for the upcoming fiscal year in the federal parliament. The company will be tasked with managing bad loans of banks and financial institutions, aiming to strengthen financial stability and enhance credit flow in the economy.
