Asha Laghubitta appoints Mr. Rameshwor Sapkota as chairman of BOD; to issue IPO worth Rs 3 crore
The decision of the first Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Asha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited to elect Mr. Rameshwor Saptkota as its chairman has been endorsed by the recently held board meeting of the microfinance company.
The newly elected chairman has taken the oath of his designation with the Executive Director Mr. Narayan Prasad Paudel of Bank and Financial Institution Regulation Department of Nepal Rastra Bank.
The AGM that was conducted on Mangsir 23, 2074 had appointed Mr. Sapkota in the position of chairman of the BOD. In addition, the AGM has also endorsed the proposal of issuing 3 lakh unit IPO shares worth of Rs 3 crore to the general public that amounts to 30% of the current issued capital of the company.
The microfinance company is currently serving more than 23 thousand customers through the nation from its 36 branches. It has the loan disbursement figure of Rs 77 crore.
