Asad end deadline looms; Global IME Bank opens 7 branches in a single day

As the deadline imposed by Nepal Rastra Bank for the banks to expand their network fast approaches, Global Bank following the suit of other banks has formally begun banking operation from 7 new locations on Baisakh 31, 2075.

The bank has inaugurated its new branches at Mithilabihari Municipality-7 of Dhanusha district, Feta Municipality-7 of Bara district, Phatuwabijayapur Municipality-8 of Rautahat, Dangneswori Municipality-5, Saptari, Ajayameru Gaupalika-3 of Dadeldhura, Purbichauki Gaupalika-4 of Doti and Dogdakedar Gaupalika-3 of Baitadi district on a single day. The bank has also added new ATM outlet at Mangalbazar of Lalitpur.

With this latest expansion, the bank has branch network of 129 branches, 131 ATM outlets, 4 extension counters, 14 revenue collection counters and 80 branchless banking facilities.
