Arun Kabeli Power earns Rs 10.97 crore in Q4; Income from power sales stand at Rs 40.73 crore

Arun Kabeli Power Limited (AKPL) has published the unaudited fourth-quarter report for the FY 2076/2077 today. As per the report, the net profit of the company has increased to Rs. 10.97 crores from Rs. 1.50 Lakhs. This massive increase is due to the income generated from sales of electricity this year.  

The company’s paid-up capital remains at Rs. 1.50 Arba with a reserve and surplus of Rs. 9.42 crores in the fiscal year 2076/2077. The company has reported a positive figure in this quarter compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year.  

The company has increased borrowings by 9.98% and stood at Rs. 3.51 Arba in this quarter which has led to an increase in financial costs for the company.   

The operating profit of the company has increased to Rs. 40.67 crore in Q4, 2076/2077 from 11.47 lakhs in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company sits at a liquidity position of 1.13X which is less than the minimum requirement of 1.50X.

The company’s EPS stands at Rs. 7.32 and net worth per share stands at Rs. 106.28. The qtr end P/E ratio of the company stood at 15.85 times for the end of the fourth quarter.
