NEPSE Announces Temporary Closure of Secondary Market Trading

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE), a government-owned entity, has announced the temporary closure of securities trading in the secondary market.

According to the official notice issued by NEPSE, the trading halt will take place in accordance with the Securities Act, 2063, Section 90 (1, Gha). With approval from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) on Bhadra 27, 2082, the secondary market will remain closed from Bhadra 29, 2082, to Ashwin 2, 2082.

Regular trading will resume once normal conditions are restored.
