Alpine Development operating profit surged by 62.6%

Alpine Development Bank Limited has earned an operating profit of Rs 6 crore 3 lakh 91 thousand in the fiscal year 2071/72. Compared to last year report its operating profit increased by 62.6 percent. The bank had an operating profit of  Rs 3 crore 71 lakh 31 thousand in the fiscal year 2070/71.

Likewise the bank had mobilized a deposit of Rs. 88 crore 39 lakh 20 thousand in the fiscal year 2070/71 whereas it has surged to Rs 1 arba 17 crore 16 lakh 80 thousand showing the increment of 62.6% in the fiscal year 2071/72.

The bank had extended a loan of Rs 69 crore 60 lakh 52 thousand in the fiscal year 2070/71 and in fiscal year 2071/72 it extended a loan of  Rs 94 crore 17 lakh 19 thousand which is an increment in 35.3 %.

Despite of the poor capability of the debtors to pay the loan due to the massive earthquake of Baishak 12, the Bank has been able to decrease its non-performing loan (NPL) to 2.90 % in the fiscal year 2071/72 from 4.56 as compared to the fiscal year 2070/71.
