After 8 Days Consecutive Gain, NEPSE Plunged 5.87 Points to Close at 2,044.72; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs. 1.642 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 2,044.72 today after losing 5.87 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.29%. The index had gained 4.89 points yesterday.

The index opened at 2052.95 and went intraday low at 2,038.33. It then made intraday high 2,066.07 at and ultimately closed at 2,044.72.

225 scrips traded hands via 27,522 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,908,395 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.642 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 1.731 Arba.

SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 17.8 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 807.9.

Central Finance Co. Ltd. (CFCL) gained the highest 3.16%.

On the other side of things, 12% ICFC Finance Limited Debenture 2083 (ICFCD83) lost the highest 6.71% today.

Only two sector indices closed green, “Others" gained the highest 1.09% while "Trading" lost the highest 1.58%.
