The NEPSE index closed at 2,193.43 today after losing 2.81 points from last trading day. This is a loss of 0.13%. The index had gained 1.15 points yesterday.
The index opened at 2,198.06 points and went intraday high at 2,202.88. Then, the index made intraday low at 2,170.25 and ultimately closed at 2,193.43.
217 scrips traded hands via 50,365 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 7,813,102 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 3.293 Arba in the turnover amount. This is lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 4.670 Arba.
SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 29.32 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 828 per share.
Bindhyabasini Hydropower Development Company Limited (BHDC) gained highest 9.99% and technically hit positive circuit for the day.
On the other side of things, Rastra Utthan Laghubitta Sanstha Limited (RULB) lost the highest 4.24% today.
