After 4 Days Consecutive Loss: NEPSE Ends Today's Session With 10.14 Points Gain

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index saw a slight gain of 0.49%, or 10.14 points, settling at 2,041.70 points at the close of trading today, following a loss of 17.01 points in the previous session.

Opening at 2,033, the trading day witnessed fluctuations as the index reached an intraday high of 2,048.74 before dipping to an intraday low of 2,032.13.

With a bustling trading environment, 310 different stocks were exchanged in 49,512 transactions. The total volume of shares traded stood at 6,842,392, reflecting a total turnover of Rs. 2.35 Arba. The market capitalization closed at Rs. 32.37 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.92 Kharba.

 

SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) emerged as the highlight of the day with a turnover of Rs. 9.31 Crore, closing at a market price of Rs. 530.

 

Similarly, Two companies hit the positive circuit today.

 

Conversely, Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (DLBS) faced the steepest decline, losing 9.35% to close at Rs. 1,399.60.

In terms of sector, Three Sector Indices concluded in negative territory, with the "Manufacturing And Processing Index" leading with a gain of 2.11%. However, the "Life Insurance Index" witnessed a decline of 0.18%.
