7 days left to register Everest Insurance shares; Book closure for 20% bonus tomorrow

Investors who have bought shares of Everest Insurance Company Limited (EIC) have 7 days to register their shares to be eligible for 20% bonus share. The book closure for EIC’s upcoming AGM is set for tomorrow, and only those shares that were traded till Asadh 5, 2074 and registered in their demat accounts within 7 days of the book closure date are eligible for getting the bonus shares. EIC’s trading has been suspended in NEPSE since Asadh 5, 2074 for investigation for possible insider trading. Investors who have bought EIC shares in the recent days should ask their brokers to deposit the shares in their demat accounts within 7 days to receive the 20% stock dividend. Everest Insurance is going to convene its AGM of 5 years on Asadh 23, 2074. The AGM will be endorsing 20% bonus shares and 600% right shares among other agendas.
