6 mutual fund schemes worth Rs 6.10 arba IPO added in SEBON pipeline for approval

Six mutual fund companies have applied in Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to launch initial public offering (IPO) worth Rs 6.10 arba. Siddhartha Equity Fund, Global IME Balance Fund-1, Sanima Equity Fund, Citizen Mutual Fund-1, NIC Asia Growth Fund and NIBL Sahabhagita Fund are offering primary shares at Rs 10 per unit .
In the last fiscal year 2073/74, Sebon had provided approval 4 mutual fund companies to float 42.50 crore units primary shares.
Currently, there are 11 mutual fund schemes managed by 6 different merchant bankers in Nepal. All the schemes are listed in Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE).
Sanima Capital Limited has applied to Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to come up with its first mutual fund. The mutual fund scheme is named “Sanima Equity Fund” of 12 crore units shares worth Rs 1.20 arba.
Sanima Capital Limited is the fund manager and Sanima bank is the fund sponsor of this scheme.Under this scheme, 12 crore units of the mutual fund shares will be issued to the public at a face value of Rs 10 per unit.
Likewise, Siddhartha Capital Limited is introducing its third mutual fund named Siddhartha Equity Fund of 12 crore units worth Rs 1.20 arba. Siddhartha Capital is the fund manager and Siddhartha bank is the fund sponsor of this scheme.
Earlier, Siddhartha Capital had issued two mutual fund schemes named Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme (SIGS1) and Siddhartha Equity Oriented Scheme ( SEOS), both are listed in NEPSE.
Global IME Capital Limited is also coming out with mutual fund scheme named Global IME balanced fund-1. The mutual fund scheme will be managed by Global IME Capital Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Global IME Bank limited.Global IME Balanced Fund will be issuing public issue amount worth Rs 1.20 arba.
Global IME Capital already has mutual fund schemes named Global IME Sammunati Scheme-1 (GIMES-1) listed in NEPSE.
CBIL Capital Limited has applied to Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to come up with its 1st mutual fund. The mutual fund scheme is named “Citizen Mutual Fund-1” of 10 crore units shares worth Rs 1 arba.
CZBIL Capital Limited is the fund manager and Citizens Bank is the fund sponsor of this scheme.
NIC Asia Capital Limited is also coming out with its first ever mutual fund scheme named NIC Asia Growth fund. The mutual fund scheme will be managed by NIC Asia Capital .
NIC Asia Growth Fund will be issuing public issue of 10 crore units worth Rs 1 arba.
NIBL Capital Markets Limited is also coming out with mutual fund scheme named NIBl Sahabhagita Fund. The mutual fund scheme will be managed by NIBL Capital Markets Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nepal Investment Bank limited.
NIBL Sahabhagita Fund will be issuing public issue amount worth Rs 50 crore.
Prior to this, Nepal Investment Bank floated two mutual fund scheme NIBL Samriddhi Fund-1 and NIBl Pragati Fund, both are listed in Nepal Stock Exchange Limited.
