2nd AGM of Sahas Urja successfully conducted; 86 MW Solukhola Dudhkoshi Project under construction; IPO in pipeline

Sahas Urja Limited has conducted its 2nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 26 Chaitra, 2072.
Him Prasad Pathak, Chairman of the company informed about the ongoing preparation of 86MW Solukhola Dudhkoshi Project. ‘The company has reached to the final stage of taking 70 percent loan worth Rs 11.86 arba through group investment of different banks.’ said Mr. Pathak. Leftover 30 percent share capital is being collected from promoters. ‘The process of collecting money from promoter share has reached to last stage.’ added Mr Pathak.
Publishing a press release, it stated that investors willing to invest in the promoter share can invest till end of Chaitra. Also investors who have earlier invested can do additional investment.
Of the total share capital of the financial structure, 40 percent will be collected by issuing IPO and remaining 60 percent will be collected from promoter share.
Features of the project
- Road construction task under the project development is being carried out. Land Purchase task has been completed.
- The project will be completed within 3 years of project initiation.
- As per the company’s assumed financial description the project is economically sound and technically feasible.
- The project’s per unit cost is Rs 2.70. Compared to other project, this project is less costly. Deal has been done to sell produced electricity at Rs 8.40 per unit in winter and Rs 4.80 per unit in monsoon.
- 4 percent return on equity will be provided annually for shareholder’s investment in the project.
- After 4 .33 years, the total costing of the project will be recovered.
- The company will further the process of issuing Initial Public Offering (IPO) after starting to work on the main construction work.
- The hydro company has successfully started to generate electricity from 5MW Hugdikhola Project in Gulmi district.The project was accomplished before the determined tenure and in lower cost.
