NEPSE Index Ends Fiscal Year 2082/83 with Modest Gain, Overall Turnover Stood at 4.56 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain on the last trading day of fiscal year 2082/83, gaining 7.50 points (0.28%) to close at 2,597.80. This follows a gain of 14.00 points in the previous trading session.

 
 
The benchmark index opened at 2605.26 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,606.89 and a low of 2,581.09 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.56 Arba, with 9,469,099 shares traded across 371 companies through 39,595 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.63 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.08 Kharba.
 

Singati Hydro Energy Limited (SHEL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 24.74 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 302.90.

 


NIBL Growth Fund (NIBLGF) Led the gainer's list with 14.96% each. The stock closed at Rs. 10.91.


Meanwhile,Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 8.77%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 1,596.50.

 

Among sectors, Mutual Fund registered the highest gain, gaining by 1.37%, while Finance Index recorded highest loss, losing by 0.66%.
