11MW Lower Khare Khola Hydro project in Dolakha registers 75% completion; produced energy to come online from next fiscal year

11 MW Lower Khare Khola Hydro power currently under construction in Gaurisankhar Gaupalika of Dolakha has reported the completion of 75% of its construction. The hydro producer has also speeded up the construction of 132 KV Singadi transmission line via which the produced electricity will be evacuated to the national grid.

The project will be constructed with the total investment of Rs 2.04 arba that puts the per MW cost at Rs 18.55 crore.

The hydro developer has also been providing financial support for the upgradation of several infrastructures for the local’s use, as mentioned in the media statement. The hydro project will begin producing electricity from the Shrawan of 2076, as further mentioned in the statement.
