“10% Sanima Debenture 2085” receives 2,783 applications for 1.35 lakh units from general public; 66% issue for public goes unsubscribed

Kathmandu Capital has closed the issue for “10% Sanima Debenture 2085” yesterday. As per the issue manager, the debenture was able to collect only 2,783 applications for 1,35,737 units from the general public.

The bank has been issuing 20 lakh unit debentures at Rs 1,000 per unit. Out of the total debentures, 20% of the issue (i.e. issue of Rs 40 crore) is being issued for the general public. And the remaining 80% was issued from private placement.

Hence, about 66% from the issue to general public remains unsubscribed.

Sanima Bank will be able to issue to the unsubscribed debentures along with other debentures issued in future.

“10% Sanima Debenture 2085” will be issuing yield 10% interest annually and the allotment will be made to the valid applicants.
