NRB Extends Financial Statement Deadline to 15 Days for Quarterly and 30 Days for Annual Reports

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has officially extended the time limit for banks and financial institutions to publish their financial statements. According to a circular issued on Wednesday, institutions now have up to 15 days to publish their quarterly financial statements, instead of the earlier deadline of 7 days from the end of the quarter.

Similarly, the deadline for publishing fourth-quarter (annual closing) financial statements has also been extended. Previously, these had to be published within 21 days after the end of the fiscal year. Now, NRB has allowed up to 30 days for the same.

With this change, financial institutions will have more time to prepare and publish accurate and complete financial reports, easing compliance pressure while maintaining transparency.
