SEBON to bring settlement guarantee fund; directs CSDS to prepare the necessary working procedure

Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) issued a press release stating settlement guarantee fund needs to be established as soon as possible for the proper management of the trading and settlement process. Sebon has issued directive to CDS and clearing limited (CDSC) to prepare and submit the necessary working procedure for the implementation of settlement guarantee fund by the end of Asahd, 2073 to sebon. Sebon is continuously  making efforts to make the Secondary Market more trustworthy. After the settlement guarantee fund is established, the brokers can take a loan from that fund whenever necessary and do settlement with the investor on time. With the establishment of a settlement guarantee fund both the brokers and investors will be benefitted.
