NBI banking course

KATHMANDU:

National Banking Institute (NBI), the banking academy of Nepal, launched one of its most successful programmes namely ‘Comprehensive Banking Course’ in three locations simultaneously in regional level at Butwal, Pokhara and Birtamod. With this initiative, banks are now able to train staff located out of the Valley on a regular basis. NBI is soon launching this course in other major cities such as Biratnagar, Nepalgunj, Dhangadi, Chitwan and Birgunj. The six- day or 18 morning session programme has been designed by a team of professionals, including management level staff of NBI, top executives of BFIs, HR and departmental heads with inputs from regulators, as per the press statement. The programme is fruitful for newly recruited and entry level staff which captures the required skill set needed at the core of human capital development of the banking industry.
