Know the status of branch & ATM networks of commercial banks in Nepal; which bank has the highest branch facility?

-Ruchi Rayamajhi Every time a person wants to open a bank account, interest rate provided by the bank is the most concerned factor. However, branch network of a bank is also another factor that influences the selection of bank to open a bank account. These days, every bank has provided ATM facility to its customers. New schemes are being introduced by banks to attract the customers towards using ATM owing to which there has been noticeable increment in the number of ATM card users in Nepal. Almost everyone who has a bank account has ATM card in their pocket. Thus, everybody wants an easy access to the ATM facility. Not just ATM, everyone wants to open an account in a bank that is easily available. In case of any queries or problems, everybody wants their bank to be easily available to meet them. Hence, everyone wants a strong branch-networked bank. In Nepal, among 28 commercial banks, the branch networks have spread from 15 branches at the least to 230 branches at the most. Similarly, ATM networks vary from 23 ATMs at the least to 150 ATMs at the most. The following table shows the current branch as well as ATM networks of the commercial banks in Nepal:
