The Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has requested its member unions, institutions, and industries to send them a written complaint if they have any issues during loan repayment procedures with the banks.

In an announcement released today, the FNCCI has stated that all the industries and businesses have had to shut down their operation because of the nationwide lockdown effective from Chaitra 11th of last year. While the lockdown has been eased for a month now, the announcement states that conditions are still not smooth for businesses.

At this state, the announcement states that their member unions, institutions, and industries are not at a condition to repay their loans on time with interest. While they have been incurring the usual operation expenses, there is very little cash flow.

Nevertheless, for those who are able, the federation has requested to pay back their loans on time.

The FNCCI has acknowledged concerned authorities to incorporate loan restructuring, rescheduling, and interest capitalization policies into the monetary policy of the fiscal year 2077/ 78.

The written complaint concerning loan repayment to banks can be sent to the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry via email at lokraj@fncci.org.
