Womi Microfinance reports 48% rise in profit in the first quarter; Net worth per share stands at Rs 159.52

Womi Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WOMI) has reported rise of 48.56% in net profit for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2075/76.
Publishing the unaudited financial report for the first quarter today, the microfinance company has stated that its net profit rose to Rs 1.08 crore in first quarter of fiscal year 2075/76 up from Rs 73.17 lakh reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2074/75.
The microfinance has borrowings of Rs 79.73 crore in the 1st quarter compared to Rs 47.66 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Likewise, it extended loans of Rs 1.37 arba, up from 83.86 crore. It has collected deposits of Rs 46.54 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2075/76.
It has paid up capital of Rs 10.10 crore with reserve of Rs 6.01 crore as on Q1. Womi Microfinance’s net interest income has risen from Rs 1.63 crore in the corresponding quarter last year to Rs 2.78 crore in the first quarter of fiscal year 2075/76.
It has posted an operating profit of Rs 1.70 crore in Q1, up from Rs 1.14 crore in corresponding quarter.
The microfinance’s non-performing loan (NPL) has declined from 0.84% in the corresponding quarter to 0.59% in the Q1.
Its annualized Earning per Share (EPS) stands at Rs 43.01, net worth per share at Rs 159.52 and P/E ratio at 24.11 times.
