Womi Microfinance registers massive rise of 88% in the net profit; Quarterly report shows EPS Rs 50.60

Womi Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WOMI) has reported massive rise of 88.80% in net profit for the third quarter of the current fiscal year 2074/75.
Publishing the unaudited financial report for the third quarter today, the microfinance company has stated that its net profit rose to Rs 2.95 crore in third quarter of fiscal year 2074/735 up from Rs 1.56 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2073/74.
The microfinance has borrowings of Rs 69.27 crore in the 3rd quarter compared to Rs 29.28 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Likewise, it extended loans of Rs 1.15 arba, up from 59.04 crore. It has collected deposits of Rs 40.27 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal year.
It has paid up capital of Rs 7.77 crore with reserve of Rs 5.47 crore in Q3.
Womi Microfinance’s net interest income has risen from Rs 4.34 crore in the corresponding quarter last year to Rs 5.94 crore in the third quarter of fiscal year 2074/75.
It has posted an operating profit of Rs 4.50 crore in Q3, up from Rs 2.28 crore in corresponding quarter.
The microfinance’s non-performing loan (NPL) has slightly declined from 1.58% in the corresponding quarter to 0.76% in Q3.
Its Earning per Share (EPS) now stands at Rs 50.60, net worth per share at Rs 170.41 and P/E ratio at 26.88 times.
