Womi Microfinance declares 20% stock dividend; Paid up to reach Rs 6.48 crore

Womi Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limted (WOMI) has decided to distribute 20 percent stock dividend to its shareholders. As per the notice published in NEPSE today, the microfinance company has proposed 20 percent bonus share and 1.11 percent cash dividend (for tax purpose) to its shareholders from the net profit it earned in the last fiscal year 2072/73. The decision is subjected to approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and the bank’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). Womi Microfinance had distributed 20% bonus share to its shareholders for the FY 2071/72. Womi Microfinance has earned net profit of Rs 1.07 crore in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2072/73. The paid up capital of the microfinance company remains at Rs 3.6 crore. The microfinance company has been issuing 2:1 (50%) right shares from Bhadra 13, 2073 and today is also the closing day for the right share. After the issuance of 50 percent right share, the paid up capital will reach at Rs 5.4 crore. Likewise, after 20% bonus share it’s paid up capital will reach to Rs 6.48 crore.
