With a 1.18% Uptick, NEPSE Settles at 1,949.06 Level; All Sectors Close Green Led by "Trading"

The NEPSE index closed at 1,949.06 today after gaining 22.65 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a gain of 1.18%. The index lost 6.90 points yesterday.
Today the index opened at 1,926.28 and made an intraday low at 1,925.41. In contrast, it went as high as 1,949.17 and ultimately closed at1,949.06.
258 scrips traded hands via 29,282 transactions. A total of 5,255,086 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.298 Arba in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.069 Arba.
IME General Insurance Ltd. (IGI) had the highest turnover of Rs. 7.63 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 394 per share. The shares of NICSF traded the most.
Unique Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (UNLB) gained the highest 10% and hit positive for the day.
Conversely, Support Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. (SMB) lost the highest 5.36% today.
All sector indices closed green, "Trading" gained the highest 4.66% while "Mutual Fund" gained the least 0.29% today.
