With a 0.25% Uptick NEPSE Settles at 2,718.16 Level; Overall Volume Stood at 2.93 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, inclining by 6.94 points (0.25%) to settle at 2,718.16. This comes after loss of of 1.64 points in the previous trading session on yesterday.

The benchmark index opened at 2708.01 and reached an intraday high of 2,718.16, while the day’s low stood at 2,700.97. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 2.93 Arba, with 6,684,007 shares traded across 334 companies through 45,065 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.35 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.46 Kharba.

NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 17.68 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 1,362.00.

Swabalamban Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWBBL) Led the gainer's list with 12.19%. The Stock closed at Rs. 810.00.

Meanwhile, Forward Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (FOWAD) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 13.24%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 1,127.90.

Among sectors, the Trading Index registered the highest gain by 1.57%, while Non Life Insurance recorded highest fall, falling by 0.56%.
