What is the position of deposit and lending in BFIs as of Magh?

The total deposit collected by BFIs in the month of Magh is Rs 2679 arba whereas the total credit disbursement is Rs 2391 arba. BFIs have increased both their deposit collection and credit disbursement by 30 arba. In the month of Magh, the deposit and credit increased by 30 arba as compared to previous month.

However, within the seven months of this fiscal year, banks have increased their deposits by Rs 201 arba whereas credit by Rs 278 arba. The proportion of growth of credit disbursement is significantly greater by Rs 77 arba. This reflects that the imbalance in deposit and credit among BFIs is still prevailing.
