Today's Forecast
Partly to generally cloudy skies are expected throughout Nepal. The day brings the likelihood of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in specific areas:
- Bagmati Province
- Gandaki Province
- Lumbini Province
- Karnali Province
- Sudur Pashchim Province
Additionally, there is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in the rest of the provinces. Some areas in Lumbini Province and Sudur Pashchim Province may experience heavy rain with thunder and lightning.
Tonight's Forecast
The night is expected to be partly to generally cloudy across the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in a few places within:
- Gandaki Province
- Karnali Province
- Sudur Pashchim Province
In the rest of the country, there may be light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places.
Meteorological Analysis
The current meteorological analysis reveals the position of the Monsoon Trough, with the western axis located north of its average position and the eastern area positioned to the south of its average location. Furthermore, a low-pressure system in the northwestern part of the Bay of Bengal is partially influencing the weather conditions in the region.
